Making the most of your social media content is something many businesses struggle with. So this session from Claire Trévien of Passle was a useful lesson in how to make your content work a little bit harder. From scheduling re-sharing of your tweets in different wording, to tips on useful tools for re-sharing or cross-posting blog posts on different platforms, the presentation provided a great checklist of things to consider after you have written some content for a social platform.
Claire shared some tips on email marketing; adapting content to every network you use with help from infographics, podcasts or video; and on targeting the all-important influencers in your industry. Top take-away? Don’t be afraid to share the same thing several times on social media.
Connor Kinnear then gave us a useful overview of how the Passle tool works – for anyone who struggles to get their company experts to engage with social, it is well worth looking into.
